Hi,
Does anyone know for sure if it is possible to chip the Fabia 2 vrs 180 bhp petrol model, can the DSG gearbox handle anymore bhp and torque?, I'm not thinking of to much of an upgrade perhaps 20-30% up on both bhp and torque, it's just because I've heard that the two dry clutches on the seven speed DSG gearbox can't handle anymore than the 250 Nm torque that the engine already produces.

Hi mate,
In a word yes - although the new fabia has a protected processor in the ecu it CAN be chipped, it will be an ECU off and chipped on the bench (OBD is not an option due to the protection in the cars software) the ecu will be housed inside a security cage but again we have ways around this. in a nutshell it can be done yes.
