going to have a bash at changing the rear shocks at the weekend. anybody done this or any tips would be great thanx..:Blush:

Assuming they are the same set up ive just done my rear shocks on my Avant, its pretty simple tbh, long bolt at the bottom where the strut bolts to the rear beam and 2 bolts at the top to release the top mount, you have to twist the strut a quarter turn as theres a white plastic contraption on the top mount set up which seat a certain way.

Yep two 13mm bolts under the carpet in boot need undoing. Undo the bolts on the bottom of the strut first, and invest in a set of spring compressors to make things safer! Make sure you have some ofset spanners. Crack of the bolt then compress springs. ;)

thanx guys have the spring compressors already. i done a front spring before but people have been saying that usally the back ones are easier ( to compress ) than front so here gos tomorow..
