Audi 1998 1.8T A6 digi Diasplay

98 A6. Today although the display light to tell you the door is open and 'OK' once the engine is running the display appears totally blank. I note the car was quite hot due to sunshine. Any ideas. Regards Peter

The display can be switched on and off using the reset button on the wiper stalk - maybe you've inadvertently switched it off?

Yes I tried that but to no effect I then used the Test Botton and it showed all the symbols normally associated with the display in sequence then on completion the display came on as normal, no problem. Regards Peter

The display on my A6 2.6E 94 model seems to be stuck on 000 all the time. no movement..tried resetting by disconnecting battery terminals but theyre still stuck...any suggestions..

Left hand button by rev counter with ignition on but do not start engine. Regards Peter
