Insp 2

Hi all just bought A4 avant 1.8 se 1996 , but light just come on saying "Insp 2" Surely this is the insprection 2 ?, Any ideas how much this gonna set me back???

Depends on mileage, past service history.

Change the engine oil and filter every 6k miles

On a car of this age, ignore the service light and extinguish it

As Jim says take no notice of the light and just keep up with the servicing and oil changes etc, I cant get my insp 2 light to come off but I dont think its a big deal, at the end of the day most people know if there car is ok or not.

The other important items to change are spark-plugs and air-filter, every 30k miles.
