service Indicator A4 2009/10 Model

Hi
I have just had my A4 serviced not at a main dealer. I now need to reset the service interval display.

I have noted other threads on this but none seem to apply to my model year.

Can anyone help?

I think this is in the hidden menu but somebody more knowledgable is bound to be along soon.

Thanks I hope so, I've done the Oil change reset but not the service.

It's not in the hidden menu. You need vcds to reset it :)

The oil change interval is in the Service Interval menu iirc.

It's free software but needs a pricey cable to be used. The software can interrogate the car and also make changes to various codes to turn on/off functionality.

If you're after a one off tweak then it's probably best to post your location and see if any of us with it are close to you. The only down side is that when your car is in for a service it's likely they'll reset the change back to factory standard.
