Hi Everyone,
I've been looking all over for images of a 1.4, 1999 Bora/Jetta engine. I am particularly interested to see a image and description of the side that faces the firewall.
The problem that I have is that there is a pipe (bit bigger than a thumb) coming from the back of the engine into the airbox side (to where the air filter resides). Well that pipe is full of "white clogged stuff" looks like condense milk but smells like oil (much like when you take the oil cap off, that smell). I would like to know where that pipe comes from but can't seem to find any pictures or descriptions that will tell me.
The car doesn't use ANY water and it is clean from contamination. The same for the oil (black and no contamination). It uses a bit of oil but not so much that I would be concerned. The car also has covered about 67000 miles. So I suspect a seal might be gone somewhere.
