alarm volume

hi, this is my first thread:confused: so be gentle...... anyway i was wondering if anyone can tell me how to adjust the volume of my alarm, at the moment the volume so so low u can barely hear it, also when i lock the car with the remote the indicaters flash but there is no beep sound, so that if im walkig away from the car and lock it, i know its locked by hearing the beep instead of turning round to see the indicaters flash...... thanx

Which A4 do you have - my B6 doesn't beep at all, just flashes the indicators. As far as I know this is completely normal.

If you hear the alarm actually going off from more than 20 feet your doing well - they are very quiet !

hi, i have the b5 model, oh well if thats normal then i'll have to leave it but thanx anyway,....
