turbo shut down at 3000rpm

hello has anyone suffered the problems i am having with my 115 hp vag diesel unit, when it gets to 3000rpm it appears:confused: to turn the turbo off by dropping the pressure out of the system? if i stop and turn the car off then restart it will be ok to 3000rpm but as soon as i go beyond that it goes flat again and will not make power in any of the rev range, any advice is allways welcome

many thanks for pointing me to the limp mode threads, i have had to take the car to willis and ellis my local Seat dealer in york , its not showing the fault of dying at 3000rpm on the diagnostic test so i asked them to drive it , they are going for the MAF first but i fear the bank balance will get shot to bits with a new turbo
