A3 2005 style bumper onto 2003 car?

I was looking at the 2 different front bumpers and they look nearly exactly the same apart form the extended front grille on the newer 2005 > models/

Do you guys think the newer stlye bumper will fit straight onto the existing mountings of the older one?

If you have the newer 2003 model (8P chassis) then yes it will swap over (although it might be expensive and there will almost certinaly be other parts you'll need apart from the grill and bumper). If you have the older (8L chassis) then the bumper/grill won't line up with the lines of the bonnet/wing/arch.

Your chassis type makes up part of the cars VIN number - so have a look and see.
