No seriously, where is my car?
I'm buying a Passat 1.8T over the next couple of weeks. I'm checking autotrader and the usual places, but if anyone out there knows of an excellent, low mileage, FSH and most importantly, not red, 1.8T for under £3k please PM me. :1zhelp:
I'm a VW Virgin, I'm embarrassed to say I've NEVER owned a VW in the 40+ cars I've had. Shame on me, yes I know. At the ripe old age of 31 and 3/4's I've seen the light / taken my head out my @ss (delete as appropriate) and buying a V Dub imminently.
I've read through the web for common faults, the blow off / dump valve seems to be mentioned alot, but would like help on what I need to be looking for specifically. I know a fair amount on cars in general and can check all normal mechanics etc but each car has their own Achilles heal!
