Need SOUND advice

Ordered my A4 S-Line but I really don't like the sound system.

What have you guys done to improve your sound? (not including you lucky gits with the B&O) :D

Not sure what aftermarket tinkering you can do that won't interfere with the OEM entertainment system.

Can't you change your order to include B&O?

This is a minor enhancement .... and looks like a lot of work for what it is.

Bloody hell! That's a lot of work! Many thanks for taking the time to post that.

I had the tweeter upgrade on my Passat 07 done at E.R.S. in Essex and I was very pleased with the quality of work.

Kodkod, it's a used car I'm getting so I can't get anything changed at Audi.

I had an Alpine sub and Kenwood mono Amp from E.R.S.

After a while the Amp starting cutting out and E.R.S. found a dry solder joint. Good service.

.... and I've got the sub, sound box and amp in my loft if you're interested ;) Turning down the bass or choking the factory speakers and having the bass from the sub makes a great improvement. I did this on my old company cars and in my Golf GTi. The only downside is the space it takes up.
