Hello all.
I just thought I would post what appears to be a fix for those who are using an external hard drive to play music using the Media-In function but which does not continue playing the last played song when turned off and restarted.
I have up until now been using an SD card to play my music but I wanted greater storage capacity so I bought an external hard drive. It works great. However, I had the problem that when I turned the RCD 510 off (turned the ignition off) and turned it back on again after returning to the car, the RCD 510 would not continue playing the last song played and instead start playing the first song in the directory: ABBA! lol
I have just updated the firmware for the RCD510 and the problem is solved.
To download the latest firmware and instructions how to install it (it's really easy) go to:

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for MEDIA-IN.
Hope this helps somebody out there with the same problem as I had.
