Hi

Having not used any of these type of companies before ( Chips Away, etc ) I have a couple of door dinks I would like
to be pulled out, luckily the paint not broken. Any one had experience of these type of companies, that could be recommended would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Rick

I had a small dent in a rear door (presumably banged in a car park) knocked out by a guy booked through Chips Away a month or two ago. I don't know about all areas, but I think they're franchises so the guy who did mine (based in Hayes, Middlesex) actually had his own company.

Have to say I was very impressed with the result; you really wouldn't have known there'd been a dent. He came to my house to do it and it took him an hour or so, but it is quite alarming to watch as he goes at your bodywork with a heat gun and hammer!

He did say that they can't always do a paintless repair; it depends on the location. Sometimes there are door struts etc.. in the way which prevent the necessary access.

Neil.

My local Chipsaway guy is amazing, I have had dings removed a few times by him, but as said it really does come down to how good the
operator is...

As per the last post, with Chips away it does depend on the person doing the job. If possible try and find someone that's been doing it for a while and not just started.

Had all the door knocks done now by local Chips Away guy, done a great job you wouldn't even know they were there now.

In that case make sure you keep a note of his mobile number, I've been using the same guy for the past 4 years.
