Hi all,

Another question about the Fabia TDi lumps.

The 1.4 TDi seems in the literature to be better on fuel then the 1.9 TDi, or is that a false economy, yes the 1.4 is very cheap to insure and tax, will the savings go up in extra fuel needed to move the car down the road?

1.9 TDI Fabia 3 - 08 registered, now with 36000 on the clock. Bought 30 months ago, over first 3000 miles returned 48mpg (tank always full to full, so accurate). Remapped ECU, now gives 140+ BHP, no mechanical issues at all, and mpg since re-map 55mpg. Works for me!

Well worth the £330 the upgrade cost. I would strongly reccommend the 1.9 plus the remap.
