My Audi was in at the local Audi dealers for its 2 year inspection service

No probs

There was a recall on a camshaft sensor to my engine, which was done at the time

My Audi has only done 10,000 miles in the first 2 years and the garage suggested that the pollen filter be changed. Even tho' it needs replacing at 20,000 miles.

The garage suggested by the next time the service was due it would be overdue. I explained how, when I'm only doing around 5,000 miles a year :aargh4:

£40 to bloody fit one as well, which obviously I didn't.

Loan car was a 60 plate A6 Avant 2.0 TDI e. Nice but not my cup of tea.

136bhp v 211bhp was the biggest difference. Although I did like the 50mpg :biglaugh:

Cost of service £243

Are you taking it in once a year? Do you have variable servicing turned on or fixed?

I'm in a similar situation. So far I've only had the year one oil change/check done.

Fixed servicing - works out a lot cheaper for me. Started off on the variable and sharp changed it!

Anyone interested in doing their own pollen filter, found this - http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?93608-Air-cabin-filter-Pollenfilter
