I have had a LHD Golf Plus 1.9 TDi for a month now. It has done lots of miles with me and has 65,000 miles on the clock. I am getting a horrible very high pitched screech which sometimes develops into and even louder beeeeep. It is inside the cab coming from near the steering wheel. Any ideas what it could be? It seems to come when revs are low - in city traffic - but not when driving on Motorway. I haven't yet worked out what it is that stops it - it seems random, but parking and stopping does stop it. There are no warning lights or anything obvious. Help.......
