Hi All,
Sorry to sound like an **** but I tried to attach a VCDS Scan and a scan in excel format with a chart for some forum advice.
I thought all was preceeding well, I found the file, uploaded ( waited, waited, waited for the circular wheel to stop ), got very cranky and tried another couple of times.
I am doing something wrong or the uploading is a very long process.
I just know you can set me straight.
Regards Always
John

Email me the documents you're trying to upload and I'll see if there's an issue.

make sure you upload as a .zip file not an excel file.

If it is just a normal scan (not logs) I find it easiest to save the scan as a print to file after having installed a text only printer from the built in printers list Windows has. This saves the scan as a basic text file which you can open in Word and then neaten up so it looks clear and then copy and paste it into the advanced reply box.

Just copy and paste it

Hello all,
I am back again and thank you for all the replies.
I have turned everything into txt. so I can just wait and see.
I will start a new thread as I would like the Forum to comment on my scan and assist my limited knowledge.

Dear Sam,
can you open the files ?
I did manage to attach the files after saving as txt extensions, I can not open the files. Double clicking does not open the file.

John, they open fine for me using wordpad.

I'll try another format if anyone else reports issues.

Seems like you're using a download manager - GetRight (http://getright.com/)?

Disable it and try again.

Thank you everyone, Quite a bit of mucking around but copy and paste seemed to be successful.
A4 Lad you are the man.
Fingers crossed the new thread will show the scans.
