I'm looking to remap my 54 plate 2.5tdi quattro A6. What gains should I expect in bhp, nm, mpg. How much should I be looking to pay. Also who would be good to contact, based between Portsmouth and Guildford.
Thanks

You should see gains of +35bhp & somewhere in the region of 45nm increase in torque.
as for the mpg, driving 'normally' you may see some improvement in mpg.
i would recommend Elite remaps, they have a national dealer network and are Vag specialists

would you indeed?
On the basis of what, may I ask, are you making this recommendation?
My moddy senses are twitching, so consider your reply carefully.

Expect about 200 to 210 Bhp and 440-480 Nm depending on engine code and turbocharger fitted. The a6 has plastic ended intercooler so high boost wont hold too well. Also depending on engine code you could have a 3 plunger pump(most are 2 plungers only) and the larger Gt2052 turbo wich has a slightly bigger compressor wheel. I found the early a6 respond much better to tuning as they have less emission restraints. I would ditch the pre-cat and the main cats if it's performance you after... There's plenty turners out there but few understand the quircks of the v6 engine and vp44 pump...

Had a couple of cars 'mapped' by them in the past with no problems and the dyno say's so , simple as ;-)
