I'm off to Europe next week and was looking at VW assistance. It says online that it covers Europe and I was going to print off the relevant web pages.

I was wondering however, if there was a VW leaflet that contained this, as I could pop into the the dealership before going.

TIA

Sorry, Don't know much about the VW Assistance. I assume you've referring to http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/assistance/european
I have used the likes of AA and Green Flag Annual European cover in the past, but that's on older cars.
Try their Freephone number 0800 777 192 as this may save the trip.
I'm hoping for mine to arrive before I head off to Europe too. Though, as a company car through a lease scheme, this may not apply.

That's a long drive from your part of the UK then !
Don't forget your Triangle(s), Spare Bulbs (Got a full set from the 99p shop, including an H7!), Hi-Viz vests (1 per passenger - Ikea) - Keep one over the drivers seat to save being checked by Mr. Gendarme, Fire Extinguisher, Triangle(s), GB Sticker on the left of the car (if not on reg plate), First Aid Kit, V5 or equivalent, Insurance Policy Docs (Green Card) and €90 cash in case of a speeding fine in France!

What are you doing about the headlights? Are They Xenon or Standard Halogens?
I read somewhere that the Halogens can be adjusted with the flick of a switch within the light assembly, but not sure if this applies to the CC yet. http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=207746
