audi a6 electric window problems

Hi can any one help I have a 1999 audi a6 and both front windows go down no problem but on trying to send them back up they only go up part way then stop then when i try again they will go up about 3/4 then stop again then will go back down on their own and i can only get them up by pushing them up by hand

I have this very same problem. Have you fixed them?

not as yet still working on it,i have had 3 lots of advice, 1) it is the plastic clips on the runners, i have tried to purchase these from audi but the say they have been redesigned and only come with the regulator !!! ?. 2) that is the regulator itself. 3) that is the motor, so i am totally confused, i think i am going to try the motor as it is the easiest fix. and will go from there
