door rattle Help!

I am hoping someone can help me.

I have a 3door Mk4 Golf, and the drivers door seems to rattle about when accelerating & braking.

Apparently this is a common problem on 3dr Golfs due to the doors being so heavy.

Can someone please let me know how i can adjust this as it is becoming annoying.

Had same problem with mine and was fixed by dealer, currently have a 2004 passat and the door constantly rattles.......drives me mad. So far my dealer has been less than helpful.
If I push my leg against the door it stops but as soon as I remove it the rattles start again. Any help would be appreciated, seems to be around the door release handle!
