mk3/vento bumper smoothing

hi iv just got a vento and iv seen a picture in a mag (pvw) of a whit golf with a vento front end conversion but he has got rid of his indercators/fog lights on a smoothed bumper and i think it looks sweet so im goin to do it on my vento i just wanted no if anyone has done it on here and could give me any tips

and while im at it im goin to color code the black top part of my bumper and fill the groove under it aswell and the number plate resess is going aswell

i hope im in thinkin a big tin of fiber glass filler should stop it crackin some plastic/filler primer for the black plastic part and some fiber glass matting/ressin to fill the holes and then paint

if anyone has tryed this or has any tips on how not to do it this it might come in handy and i would love any helpfull idea's because im cant stop thinkin of the hole thing might just cracking as i put it on or some point down the line

p.s iv just got a new bumper from ebay £20 bargen just incase it all go's rong
