I need your guidance please. For the past 2 weeks my 130BHP TDI sport ibiza (52reg) has been giving me probs.
This is linked specifically to the turbo or maybe I should say the lack of any turbo. Here are my symptoms…
Sometimes when I go over 3K revs my turbo suddenly stops and for the rest of the car journey I’m driving on seriously reduced power. However, if I stop the car switch of the ignition and start again the turbo comes back on line, so I assume the turbo is going into a safe mode for some reason, I could be wrong.
