Absolutely the perfect car for remapping

gains of 40bhp and 85Nm are readily available

no anti tune issues - no dpf to have to limit the remapping

I spoke to this chap and he thinks going any higher than 30bhp will make my car start kicking out black smoke. Is this true?

no thats not true at all
all our software is tested on 3000bhp dynocom rolling road and using boshe emmisions testing equipment
therfore we know that emmisions are well within tolerances
Black smoke is caused by unburnt fuel - therfor a remap from someone who does not correctly adjust more maps than just the fuelling map may have this problem - we make the necessary adjustments to counter any excessive black smoke
if however wear within your engine does cause a smoke issue we can reduce the performance gains to stop this happening

I'm due to get my car remapped on Sunday for £200 (mates rates) is there any way one of your guys could match that?
