Rear Speakers

Fixing in my Kenwood head unit today and I have found that my concert system has only wiring in the connector plug for the front speakers is this normal? There are speakers fitted in the rear shelf, offside has wires connected, nearside has not, there is a blue connector plug with multiple wires going into it loose beside the nearside speakers.

I am tempted to save time and just run new wires to the rear speakers unless the learned forum can help me:1zhelp:

Run some new wires down the passenger side. Job done, plus the old ones might be a bit crap and thus reducing quality.

Fitted new Alpine speakers and ran new wires,happy now:)
