dimensions and free stuff

Hi all, a few months ago i asked for some help on changing my mk1 golf karmen from petrol to diesel. I have now put a 94 1.9TD into my 82 soft top but im having some problems with the longest of the two drive shafts. does any one know where i can find exact dimensions for vw components eg drive shafts, gear box, fly wheel etc....

I also have several 94 golf components left over most of the front chassis parts, wish bones.... I hope to have finished my engine change by the weekend. Would anyone like anything that is left over?

Hmm, I'm not sure there's a resource that lists the parts and their dimensions.

I presume you know of www.vagcat.com which is an online parts catalogue. It shows part numbers and basic fitting/location diagrams. Armed with a part number you may be able to get a helpful parts guy to cough up some information.

As for your leftover parts - stick a post in the classifieds :)
