Audi a5 2009 2.7tdi engine failure

Hello Folks,

im new around here as you can see.

My Audi A5 has recently uplifted to Audi & has been diagnosed with "water intake" causing engine failure which they are not willing to repair / replace under warranty.

Please can anyone advise as what to do next or recommend a garage that to rebuild / repair?

Woman drivers eh! I'm guessing a large puddle at speed. Have Audi gave you a diagnosis yet?

Try speaking to your insurance company, they seem to write off cars which get water damage to the engine.

Unfortunately this is not covered by the policy on her car.

Audi have looked at & have advised water in chambers as well as intercooler pipes, but have fitted a new starter motor.

No itemised damage list, but will have to be repaired.

Any recommendations for a repairer?
