Rear Passenger door stuck!

Hello,
I have a Bora on a 52 Plate and i have a big problem, for some reason when i unlock the car the Rear Passenger door wont open. I then go inside the car and try and open the door by pulling the interior handle and the lock doesnt pop up!

there is no way i can now open the back door and it is frustrating me! i had a similar problem on my old ford escort td (back in the day) but at least i could still open the door (even if the central locking failed).

if anyone has any ideas, give me a shout. Its DRIVING ME CRAZY !!!

Well yes, it sounds odd but i spoke to a chap who suggested that i use a can of WD40 and spray it down the black lock on the op of the door card, so that the fluid seems into the mechanism...

Hey presto! it now works fine, dont know how long for though...
