A6 smoke problems

Recently purchased A6 Avant 1.9TDi 130 BHP 52 reg. Exhaust smoke somedays is very grey/white especially in slow traffic. It is not using oil, doesn`t appear down on power. Twice it has failed to start and then coughs out plumes of smoke. When taken back to dealership of course they could find no problem but thought one of the injectors may be leaking.and hence burning excess fuel which would clear if driven hard. Have you any ideas/experience as to what it could be? Turbo?
