Headlight convertors

I can't believe this has not appeared as a thread but does anyone know how to convert the headlights on a new shape A6 for driving in France please? I cannot see that the lights have the old lines seen on cars a few years ago to line up the convertors you could buy in accessory shops

If you have projector low beam, the cutoff blank should be switchable or reversible for LHD/RHD.

There are really cryptic instructions in the manual for my 2001 A6 on how to switch the direction of the beam. It looks as simple as pulling a lever behind the lights (remove air intake first), but things are often not as simple as they seem!

Yes there may well be levers behind your projector lights, there certainly seems to be on Golf and Eos with Xenon lights. Unfortunately access is difficult unless you have a small hand, and at least on my Eos moving the said levers seems to have upset the Advanced Frontlight system (turning headlights).
