I have had my car apart the other day and noticed a little oil in the intercooler and all over the inlet side of the turbo. It appears to be coming from the rocker vent that attaches just before the turbo inlet. I rarely get smoke unless it's cold starting.

Is it normal t0 have a little oil in the inter cooler and pipes?

Is this a problem anyone else has had that they have remedied easily? ie. it's not the turbo

thanks in advance

Quite normal and nothing to worry about.

thanks mate, that's a relief.... so when does it start becoming too much? does cleaning it out help anything?

When the oil consumption exceeds 1 litre per 1K miles.
