I have a 1999 Audi A4 Avant and just bent one of the rear brake caliper sliding bolts when removing as it was seized. Can anyone suggest where I can purchase them individually as Audi say they only come with a brake carrier for £80. Getting desperate as no transport. thanks

Hi,

I sheered one when removing once. Worth trying your local breaker yards. I managed to pick up the slider bolt for a quid. It wasnt exactly in brand-new condition but good enough and it did the job. Spending a pound is far better than 80! :)

Good luck :)

Try http://www.biggred.co.uk/

the slider bolts aren't on their website yet but give them a phone with your caliper details and they'll sort you out. Got all my slider pins from them for FAR less than audi wants for the parts you don't need!
