So, my car V6 4Motion Passat has the dreaded light on.
However it passes the emissions test with ease and runs perfectly well.
Of course the dealer can switch this off for me but if you've seen my earlier posts it's back on after 500 miles or so.
The error codes report an O2 issue and I've changed the Lambda sensor reporting this to no effect. The dealer thinks the CATs need changing but I suspect there is an Air-Flow issue - either way it's big money for no gain.
So is there any way the bulb can just be turned off - or removed? Is it controlled by a fuse for example?
