A3 2002 1.8 5v petrol starting issue

Can some one help.. I cant make sense of this.

Car will only start using jump leads from another car.
Battery voltage 9.5v when engine not running and 14v when engine running.
Intermitent fuse message when trying to start.
Car drives fine, but if i turn key off then go to start again, nothing happens.
Battery is less than 12 month old.

Have you checked the fuse links under the cover on top of the battery are all intact?

Sorry, just read "Battery voltage 9.5v when engine not running", I'll go along with battery. It might be guaranteed if it's less than a year old depending where you got it from and if you still have receipt.

Took it back to halfords... They said they will try fix it. If not they'll replace battery under warranty.
