New here and cant unlock drivers door!!!

Evening,

Had my 1995 2.0E Coupe for three days, an impulse purchase to say the least with no MOT or Tax...

The drivers door is currently locked and i can not open it with the key from the outside or from inside. When I turn the key the passenger door and boot unlock and the "pin" in the drivers door rises a little. There is a lot of resistance when turning the key and i dont want to force it and do more damage or snap the key!

Any suggestions welcomed as I dont think it will get through the MOT like this LOL!!

Mines the same, WD40 in the lock and maybe in the door jam, leave it a while? Also mine works 100% if i put the key in and draw it out a little then sort of push the key towards the front and then turn, if you get what i mean?
