Hi. I have a 1999 A6 2.4 that is a great car but has started to drive me mad. :zx11: :zx11: :mad:
There is a noise coming from the rear seat area, sounds like its the driver side. Not so much a rattle, more of a rubbing/thumping noise. Seems worse in the mornings, but maybe that's just me.
With rear seats lowered, still there. removed and reseated lower part of rear seat, still there. Sounds like its coming from the bolster (the bit that the rear part of the seat locks to, or the parcel shelf. Tried buckling up all the rear seatbelts, but still there.
Any known, common problems, or any idea's of what to try and where to look would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
