Replacement ECU required

Hi all

I've had my car for a month or so now, booked it into Audi for a warranty expiry check and on the way to the garage the car went into limp home mode. I switched the car off then back on and it was back to normal with no warning lights etc.

I mentioned this to Audi and low and behold it requires a new ECU, very lucky my warranty ran out the same day!

Has anyone else had any issues with faulty ECU's or the car going into limp home mode?

I was told it was a very good idea to get the car looked over /serviced just before the warranty ran out. Lucky for me...........


the car needs a new steering rack!!
