Finally got a build date.

Hi all been lurking for a while now, ordered from the lease company a CC GT 140 last august, got told factory accepted the order Jan 2011, however got a delivery date now for end april begining of may.

My real question is does the GT still come with leather as there seems to be a little bit of confusion to me when looking at the car configurator on the VW website.

If car arrives in May it will be 9 months from order to delivery is that a record??

The GT still comes with Leather as standard as far as I'm aware. I'd be on to VW about the delay. I ordered my car in September and it's being built this week.

configurator seems to have been fixed again, now showing lwather as standard.

Mine is being delivered this friday, will be 4 days short of 9 months from the day I ordered from the lease company:)

Still no sign of it.
How many others are still waiting from orders in 2010 ?

I orderd at the start of September, Was build week 15. All signed up now and waiting on a phonecall to tell me what day they are going to deliver the thing.

VW dont seem to be able to do anything even remotely 'fast'

Will be near as damn it 9 months for me by the time i actually get the car.

When I arrived at the office this morning, there was a car parked in my usual space... A 60 plate Passt CC Silver, Black Leather, DSG with Daytona wheels. Was not a special order, just what was available from the dealers earlier in the year.

Mine ordered in Feb - build week 23rd May and finally being delivered next Friday. So not as long as some have experienced - but a little longer than had expected!

Spent last week in Brittany... passed 3 VW dealers.. all with a CLS and CC on prime display. One was even opposite the Mercedes dealership :biglaugh:
