bootlid corrsion

I just recently bought my Audi a4 2.5 tdi convertible and have now after 2 months realised that the surround that is where the boot release button is is all corroded. I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them and what the part number is , how much it cost for the new part and also how easy it was to fit.
any answers would help

There is a thread in the B5 forum about this. I got a price of about £80 for a new part from Audi which would then need sprayed up and swapped out. Not sure how well it will look just sanding/filling the old part and it might return so new part sprayed up might be best way to go. Audi parts dept can bring up a exploded view so you get the right part.
