in need of help...traction control + airbag light on

Just recently, since i havnt been driving the car, my battery was seeming pretty low so took it out charged it and as i put the battery back in and started the car my traction control light came on (this is the first time any light has come on on the dash like that and i have never had a problem with this before) and hasnt gone off then add to insult my airbag light decides to come on aswel.

I dont understand why this has happened as its only come on since i took the battery out and put it back in.

Anybody got any ideas as to what i can do to turn it all off?

Drive the car fo a few hundred yards or so and they should go off.

Always happens after a battery disconnect.

yeh iv done that but they both stay on. can you get them turned off via vag-com or anything?

You have faults then !

Get it scanned with VCDS (vagcom that was) and then check the fault codes. Clear the faults and if they return then you have a problem
