Radio interference

Hi all
When I turn the heated rear window switch on I get
Radio interference,Turn it off and it's perfect
Does anyone know what could cause this.

Is it just the heated rear screen causing it or do other high current drains cause it. I would start by cleaning all the wire connections and earth points you can find.

Yes it's just with the heated rear window switched on
Just checked it with all lights on just the same. I also noticed when
You turn the lights on the lights for the heater fan go dimmer is this normal.

Hi, I had this last year on my B6, it was the heated rear window at fault. Due to the car still being under warranty, VW put a new rear screen in, and all is fine now. If the warranty had run out, all I was going to do was drill a hole and fit an after market roof aerial.
