NO SPARK

again my Audi A4 1.8 se 2000 won't start , it turns over buit wont start

the AA have now found that it has no 12volts to the coil pack !!!!! so they bypassed what ever is stopping / sending this problem by hard wireing 12volts straight from the battery and it started 1st time , when 12volt is removed it cuts out , he said it is the relay that controls the 12volt supply to the coil pack .

i have previously changed the camshaft sensor and the fuel pump relay 372

any clues please

aa man sounds about right, you'll need to get a new relay for it. :D

went out to car this morning and it started on the button !!!!!!!!!!

i still want/need to get the correct relay anyone no what the number it is or what the correct name for it is.

Bloody cars are so temperamental! My immobiliser chip in the key has its fun some days.

As for part number, no idea, best bet ring up you local Audi dealer, they normally know exactly what you want/need.

what is the engine code?

it's the ADR engine

the coil is not controlled by a relay on the ADR engine it receives power direct from the ignition switch,via fuse 32,so i suggest you check it
