hi i have a problem with engine it carrys on revving when you press the throttle i have replaced the app sensor and the temp sensor which did not work thanks. chris

you need a fault code read

the fault code was p1256 promlem with temp sensor but have replaced that now has no codes stored and engine man light is off. thanks

for a few seconds it revs up after you take your foot off the throttle.

not sure would that effect the revving car can be in nuetrul and still does the same.

In theory the clutch switch should only drop the revs when you dip the clutch. I have no idea what it will do to the revs if it is faulty. That's why I put ???? on the end.
