mk 4 golf abs problem

hi im new to this forum , i have a garage in northern ireland and use registered vag com .
im having a problem with the abs on my own car , plugged it in came up with abs pump fault , replaced it coded it in and driv it down the road great job . switched it off went out later and driv it again and light came on . abs pump fault again , then looked and it seems like it hasnt held the code after the car is switch off ! tried another pump and its just the same ! any help wud be great thanks!

Check your VCDS workshop code in the first set up page. If it is all zero's, change it to something like 12345 etc. Then code your abs again. That might work.

I think you need to provide a security code to the ABS before you can code it.
