Im thinking of remapping my 2.0tdi 140bhp blb engined b7, can anyone recomend any good companys tgat do remaps and what sort of gains should i expect? Have found a place called celtic tuning! Has anyone had any dealings with them? If so, What were they like?
Also is it ok to remap the blb engine as ive heard so many scare stories about this engune?????
P.s engine has done 37000 miles

I've remapped several cars.....
Saab 93 1.9 Tid 150 bhp - 175bhp
Ford Mondeo ST Tdci 155bhp -195bhp

A6 2.0 Tdi 140bhp - 176bhp

You should get around 25% increase in bhp and significant improvement in torque too. When driven normally you can also usually expect around 10% - 15% increase in fuel economy.
All good and worth the £300 - £400 it should cost.

I've heard a few good things about Celtic tuning but can't recommend them personally.

as above do it, ive had mine and the OH's done and tbh i wish id done them sooner, mine cost £250 and its the best money ive ever spent on a car :approve:

Have people told their insurance companies about their remaps? If so - did it make any difference to your premiums?

My 140 2.0 TDI was actually rolling roaded at 155 bhp when i got it remapped (engine had just broken in @ 135,000 miles :D) and it then shot up to 191bhp...

Definitely get a remap best money I have spent on car. Put a big smile on my face when I got it done
