Hi,
Another new person to this forum with a couple of questions.
I have a new shape Audi A6 2.0 TDI SE spec. The heater controls are 4 rotary switches. Is it a simple job to swap this for the digital unit? Mine comes out very easily, but does the other unit have the same connections etc, and will it just work?
The second question is about fitting a TomTom as my car doesn't have the SatNav option :mad: . I want to mount a bracket close to the central airvents. As a result I want to remove the vents to secure the bracket and then refit the vents. I've even purchased a CD with the workshop manuals, that tells me to insert 4 jewellers screw drivers and pull. I can't find where the little clips are that the screw drivers are meant to release the vent. All I've successed in doing is breaking one of the fins of the vent.
Can anyone help?
