Hi all, hope I can get some help.
My car is a 2003 A4 B6 1.9tdi quattro:
My problem started last week when I discovered that my reverse lights were remaining on whilst driving? I put this down to a faulty reverse awitch and thought id fix it on the weekend, to stop annoying other drivers behind me I removed the reverse light fuse, I used the car that evening and all was ok. The next day I used the car and the engine managment light came on and the car went into limp mode, Luckly I have vag com so read the codes when I went home and got: 17552 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Open or Short to Ground
P1144 - 35-00 - -
NO other faults:
Great I thought, I knew these where common to go so of I go to the dealers and ordered one, picked it up this morning installed and no change at all????
Now I have read many posts with this code, however they all seem to be linked to other codes faults, overboosting etc, I have only 1 code as above, can anyone help?? could it be a wiring fault or is it linked to the reverse switch?
Many thanks
