Windscreen Wiper Problems

I have the following prob, my windscreen wiper only works at high speed selection but the washer works as well but with no wipe motion. I am assuming the motor is ok. The manual suggests checking the relay but it doesn't identify which one and I don't really want to pull the facia off without first knowing what is what. Any suggestions ?? :confused:

Could be a fault with the motor. The LO and HI speeds feed power to the motor via two different carbon brushes. Perhaps the brush for the LO speed is worn. You'd have no intermittent and no LO speed. Do the blades park OK when you switch off from HI speed?

They just stop where they are when switched from fast
