One of my old employers had an l reg 1.9d transporter which was great to drive but very slow.and if in going from a quick car i need a relitivly quickish van!!
I seen a fair few transporters around my area and some have been lowered , and how do you lower the front .i know the rear is just a swap of the springs but un sure about the front. Can any one help

The 2.5 102hp is the one to get, it not then the 2.5 88hp will do the trick. Booth these can be tuned to 155hp reasonably easy.

The front supension is just a big nut on each side.

Read up about this on the T4 forum first as there are a few things to be aware of first.

Good luck in finding one

My mates got a T5 sportline which is 174bhp you should go for one of these as its really quick for a van

If you are looking at a T5 then yes the 174ps is fantastic, I've got a sportline - makes me smile every time I drive it.
