ppl, am thinking of lowering my car about 20-30mm.

Whats the best thing to do, best place to visit for parts....??

Any advice appreciated.!

I was told i jus need some lowering springs but can use them on my standard shocks?

PLEASE HELP! :1zhelp:

My advise is to be careful as boras and golfs have the engine set v low and makes sump very vunerable even b4 you lower it(ask a V6 4 motion owner).As for where to get it done you need to put quality over economy(unless you get both in same place?)you do'nt want all the geometry messed up.

ok. I've just bought a Koni suspension kit from another golf owner. Hopefully going to get it fitted by a guy i know. Apparently its adjustable but it is set at about 35mm which is ideal for me.

Can any other Bora owners who have lowered their car let me know if it was a straight forward thing or were there any adjustments that needed to be made.

I'm currently sitting on some 18's, with a huge gap in between the wheel and the arch.
